Compress many JPEGs to the same target size

Add a batch of photos, set one target size, download them all as JPG. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Downloads are always JPG, whatever you upload — the only way to reliably hit a target file size is JPG's adjustable quality.

Each photo is processed one at a time so your device stays responsive — larger batches just take a little longer.

Common questions

Is there a limit to how many photos I can compress at once?
No hard limit is enforced, but every photo is processed on your own device, one at a time, so a very large batch will simply take longer rather than fail outright.
Can I set a different target size for each photo?
Not in this tool — one target size applies to the whole batch. If you need different targets for different photos, use the single-photo compressor for those individually.
Why does one photo in the batch take longer than the others?
A much larger or higher-resolution original needs more work to reach the same target size, so it can take noticeably longer than a smaller file in the same batch — this is expected, not a stall.
