Common questions
Why does it say no text was found in my PDF?
That means the PDF is a scan — a picture of a page rather than real, selectable text — so there is no text layer to extract. This tool reads existing text; it does not perform OCR to recognise text in an image.
Does the extracted text keep the original formatting?
No — this pulls out the raw text content only, without layout, fonts, or spacing. If you need the formatting preserved, this is not the right tool for that.
Can I extract text from just some pages?
This tool extracts every page in order. If you only need certain pages, use Extract PDF Pages first to pull out that range, then run this tool on the smaller file.
